Rachel's challenging query from the beginning of Bladerunner is as much at the heart of SO SAY WE ALL as Commander Adama's morale building speech to the remnants of the battle-weary Human Race; gathered to pay homage to THOSE WHO FELL during the Cylon Betrayal that ends the first episode of the new Battlestar Galactica.

Both scenes deserve further attention but time is short. In fact, it appears to have run out.

I remember his Farewell Speech. Why no one listened to the Supreme Allied Commander responsible for victory on D-Day as he warned America about the Military Industrial Complex wasn't of much interest to an Air Force Brat in the single digits; growing up on Air Bases and dreaming of X-planes and Space Patrol. 

Prior to the invasion & occupation of Iraq however, I looked up the speech he gave to the troops under his command as they waited for his GO order back in 1945. You can find it here.

2. I didn't used to worry about anything. Today is different. 

Father to 3 Daughters; I worry that there IS a predatory Human Elite, and that they still threaten all those who do not join them in their dominion over others.

 I worry that all the clichés that make up "Life As We Know It" are but obsolete lines of code that maintain an "Eat or be eaten" food chain supported by millennia of conditioning.

 I WORRY (half the time) that the only solution to the above is the one in my head no matter how fantastic or insane it sounds to others.
 
 
 

3. Actual descendants of the Third Reich are in positions of power and brag that they will install a Permanent Republican Majority by 2008. Americans that refuse to comply with such a State need to coordinate their efforts IMMEDIATELY. LOVE of money appears to have truly been the root of all evil, so all Teachers of skills and techniques with talents that heal those around them should be supported by barter - an honorable system designed by it's participants that will wean us from a heirarchy that sees us only as resources; a pyramid scam that, AS WE NOW KNOW, does not have our best interests at heart.
Such a system has been tried before. 

TURN OFF YOUR TV!

Stop using the following words: Left, Right, Democrat, Republican, Liberal, Conservative, Gay, Straight, Terrorist, Insurgent, Catholic, Christian, Jew, Muslim, Allah, Jesus, Bible, Koran, and most of all... GOD, in debates or arguments with others. Encourage them to do the same. 
 
 

4. With the passage of Real ID, current members of Congress can NOT be expected to change the system from within. Those who benefit from the system as it is, are more than able to adapt to any protests or attempts to change it from without. They have proven themselves capable of killing a single individual or thousands at a time. With the true "Nuclear Option" already in place in case their guilt and complicity are actually uncovered...

5. HOW WILL YOU GO TO COURT TO ADDRESS THE BENCH WARRANT THAT WAS ISSUED WHEN YOU COULDN'T GET IN A FEDERAL BUILDING?

 Where are the hip lawyers? Surely a pro-bono movement is in place to deal with the thousands of End -Timers and Old -Timers who will be forced to refuse "The Mark" when they go to renew their driver's license? Has anybody followed up on the use of "closed bases" as Civilian Detention Camps? Who is setting up the 21st Century underground railroad? Rest Areas for people without cars?
