ALX Volume 2 / Issue 1 (2/2/1993) Econs ALX: who as early as February of this year, volunteered the full technical support of his San Diego based company, Photo Visions; including the PVTV FedEx number, not only flew to Colorado Springs to photograph the show (when he wasn't manning the Xenon), but also brought boxes of slides and huge prints of the Environmental Icons (Econs), which CATMAN designed for NO FATE / Shan Kive... and which are reproduced below.   The Econs represented the five tattwas of Hindu cosmology; Earth, Fire, Air, Water, and Spirit/Beyond), with everything from Tibetan block print art (Air & Fire) to computer enhanced satellite imagery (Earth). We even grabbed the Beyond (Tisra Til) art from the cover of a Sant Mat book! Each Econ also had the appropriate card from the Tales Of The Va Jra Mer, mounted on it's flip side... also reproduced below.   The Econs / Prayer Flags were hung around the open-air pavilion such that the Tattwas faced out, greeting the audience, while the cards faced the inside. Slides of the Econs were also projected at the start of the appropriate section of Centeradio. Once again, ALX has proven himself indispensable to TYCHO and the vision they continue to share.   What more can you say about a guy who shows up at NO FATE 2 on the very bike that Arnold rides in T2, with CREW shirts for everybody! Well... I can think of something..... This is the guy who called me in December of 1984 and asked me "Didn't you need to go to the Crater?"... and then DROVE me there! What are friends for?
